IRS extends federal tax filing date to May 17

The IRS has extended the income tax filing deadline from April 15 to May 17 to help people dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision only affects federal income tax returns and estimated quarterly tax payments still are due April 15. Full Story: CNBC (3/17)
