Taking a break from your smartphone can be a liberating and creative experience. Instead of texting during your retreat, consider handwriting a note to someone you love. Rather than rely on your phone’s camera, pack sketch paper and pencils, and draw what you see. Instead of sending a tweet, listen for the bird songs on a hike in our hills. And as an alternative to obsessively checking the news, check in to yourself, noticing your breath, heartbeat, posture, and placement on the earth. Unplug, and look for your “spiritual signal” at Harbin!

Yoga is back. Breathe into it! | If you missed our program half as much as we have, you will be thrilled to hear that yoga has returned for Harbin guests. Our instructors create a heart-full space for your own experience, inviting you to breathe, meditate, stretch, and move into your wholeness. Our new schedule includes classes twice daily from Friday through Monday, meeting in our new Events Center near the garden. And, as always, classes are free to Harbin guests (donations accepted). Be sure to include a class in your next visit, and come celebrate the heart with us.

If you are a local guest, or enjoy dropping in for regular visits to Harbin, you’ll be interested in the return of our Monthly Day Use Pass. These passes can be used for 6-Hour Visits throughout the month, range in prices (with some limitations), and can be a great value for our frequent weekday visitors. See complete details on our website.

Although we have plenty of plans for the future, we are really enjoying the present, including watching guests’ tensions melt away in our spring pools. Creating a place where our friends can experience the healing power of nature has always been central to our mission, so we look forward to welcoming you on your next visit to Harbin Hot Springs. Sincerely, Alyssa
