| Good morning, and welcome to the Saints Insider Newsletter for Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Saints head coach Dennis Allen met the media for breakfast on Tuesday morning at the NFL owners meeting in Phoenix, Ariz. The media session is an annual tradition for NFL head coaches, and Allen dropped a few new nuggets during his hour-long session, including a surprising update on the health status of receiver Michael Thomas. Beat reporter Luke Johnson was on the scene and has the story. Allen also shared how he learned about the startling cancer diagnosis of Foster Moreau during a free agent visit to the Saints facility last week. NFL executives and owners also voted on several new rules changes for the 2023 season. Beat reporter Terrin Waack has the run-down of all the new changes, resolutions and bylaws.
