Calif. city considers recruiting incentives
The city council in Napa, Calif., is considering a job-recruitment proposal aimed at attracting candidates for hard-to-fill positions. Recruits could receive as much as $15,000 if they have the right professional skills, plus two weeks' paid vacation -- carried over from their previous employer -- and another $15,000 for moving expenses and housing.
