Hi Achternaam,

Where do you find your home canning equipment?

Honestly, I’m pretty thrifty, and I do a lot of thrift store shopping, yard saling, auctions, and things like that. That’s a great way to buy canning equipment, though you do need to be careful and check jars and canners before you purchase them.

Speaking of canning equipment, let's dive into this week's articles:

Canning Kits - Canning kits are a great way to pick up everything you need in one package, especially if you are just starting to collect your canning supplies.

Canning Carrots - Canning carrots ready to add to a stew or soup. Or just heat, add some butter, and sprinkle on a bit of cinnamon. Use a crinkle cutter for a fun look to your jars. Use the optional sweet syrup to make sweet carrots for a treat.

Stainless Steel Water Bath Canners - These are a great investment for someone who does a lot of canning each year.

Freezing Bananas - My kids loved frozen bananas for a treat, plus they're great for making smoothies or banana bread.
