Unless we change the way we analyze data and evaluate key economic indicators, we will not have an accurate picture of the health of our economy, according to Gene Ludwig, a leader in finance and former comptroller of the currency. The data we collect and analyze impacts the picture we have of our economy, and that in turn informs economic decisions that impact all Americans. So what needs to change? Ludwig is joined by two panelists on opposite sides of the political spectrum — Sarah Bloom Raskin, law professor at Duke, and Oren Cass, Executive Director of American Compass — to consider what policies and strategies are required to right our economic outlook.
