Sarah Cox, chief human resources officer at L.L. Bean, says her goal for remote work is simple: Find “fantastic employees who can stay and work in Maine.”

Sarah sits on the Maine Advisory Council on Remote Work, a coalition of key employers that collaborate closely with the state’s community colleges.

Together, these stakeholders design and launch creative programs that equip students with occupational skills and remote work skills they need to thrive in the digital economy.
