My personal favorite is the story of the toddler who ordered $91.70 worth of McDonald's. It makes me feel better about the time my toddler rented a $20 movie on our smart TV in the time it took for my husband to cross the room and try to grab the remote control.
What's new: The Utah Department of Health issued an update on Thursday that baby formula is becoming more available in Utah and they are "becoming slightly more optimistic" about the shortage.
“It is still going to be some time before supplies are normal again, but we are hopeful we will get there,” the department tweeted. “The lack of specialty formulas still remains one of our biggest problems.”
Where to find formula:
In Salt Lake County, Walmart is the vendor with the most inventory.
Smith’s is the best place to find formula in Cache County.
Associated Food Stores are only receiving minimal product, according to the department, which is their top priority at the moment.

Context: Last month, the Utah Democratic Party voted to back independent candidate Evan McMullin, rather than nominating Democrat Kael Weston, to run for the seat held by Republican Sen. Mike Lee. It is the first effort of its kind in Utah history.
What Utahns think: According to a new Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics poll:
36% agree with the decision.
44% disagree.
50% of those who identify as Democrats agree.
46% of those who identify as Republicans disagree.
"The way it looks to me, Utah Democrats are split right down the middle," said Carson Jorgensen, chairman of the Utah Republican Party. "And in the state of Utah, if you don’t have your full party’s weight behind you, you’re behind."
