PLUS: Coming 2 America to release in cinemas in SA

The Entertainment Fix

Are you a deadhead? If so, you're going to be zombie green with jealousy! I recently spoke to The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang, and Lauren Cohan (Maggie Rhee), who answered all my questions about Maggie's recent whereabouts, and of course, that long-awaited confrontation between Maggie and Negan. Before you go, here's a joke. Why didn't the walker cross the road? They didn't have the guts! 😀

TWD's Angela Kang teases epic Maggie-Negan confrontation: 'It's going to be tense and explosive'

The Walking Dead returns on 1 March and will see Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) meet face-to-face in a tension-filled reunion that's been a decade in the making.

FOX has announced that the post-apocalyptic horror TV series' extended 10th season of six new episodes will premiere from 1 March at 03:00 CAT, simulcast with the US, and then again at 20:45 CAT that night, with weekly episodes on FOX (DStv 125).

Channel24 spoke to The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang and star Lauren Cohan (Maggie Rhee) on Maggie's return and the epic confrontation between "the widow" and reformed (we can only hope) TV baddie, Negan.

About Maggie's "just in the nick of time" return in the season 10B finale, Lauren says: "It was a very exciting reunion on so many levels. Angela and I have talked about how we're going to do it when we're going to do it, how it's going to look like for a long time. So for it to be in actuality was just creatively fun for us."
