A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. It's become clear that for the majority of law firm leaders, it's now important to compete on a global level - that being successful locally is no longer enough. Today we bring you a story that illustrates through the Global 200 rankings just how this shift has taken place. Also, we are following which firms topped the global M&A league tables for the first nine months of this year. And we have two big stories from the EU: A court has upheld a ban barring lawyers from advising on Russian M&A financing, and in the antitrust realm, an EU official hints that investigations into Big Tech services that integrate AI are on the horizon.
