  White House national security adviser John Bolton said Sunday he found it "hard to believe" that Russian President Vladimir Putin was unaware of efforts to undermine the 2016 U.S. presidential election. In an interview on the ABC program This Week, Bolton said one of the aims of President Donald Trump's meeting with Putin in Helsinki Monday will be to press the Russian president on the issue. Last week, a grand jury convened by Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted 12 Russian intelligence agents for hacking into the emails of Democratic campaign officials in the 2016 election.
