Who's Klint Kubiak, and what does he bring to the Saints?

It's been pretty quiet at Saints camp as team officials wait to make the hire of offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak official after the Super Bowl.

Here's what we have for you today:

New coach on the block

After a nearly three-week search, the Saints have landed on their new offensive coordinator, and he has a strong NFL pedigree. Matthew Paras has the goods on the man charged with breathing life into the team's underperforming offense: Klint Kubiak. Under pressure

Columnist Rod Walker likes the addition of Kubiak, but also issues a word of warning: Time will tell if he's the right hire. And for Saints head coach Dennis Allen, he better be. The honeymoon for Kubiak will be a short one if the Saints offense doesn't produce.

Comings and goings

Kubiak is still working for the 49ers and is trying to win a ring at Super Bowl LVIII but word has already leaked about some of his potential staff additions in New Orleans. One of them is a new offensive line coach. And that means the team has parted ways with veteran offensive line coach Doug Marrone.
