Noise policeA Metro Council member says the agency that regulates bars in Baton Rouge should take up noise complaints when they arise. She's says she's received a number of complaints about a restaurant and bar that serves Southern comfort food, and believes the place's liquor license should be at risk if noise is a nuisance. Some of her colleagues are skeptical, as Paul Cobler reports.
Flood payments, four decades laterBack before the 2016 flood, I mean way back in 1983, the eastern part of East Baton Rouge Parish had a terrible flood. State legislators are just now getting around to settling a lawsuit that centered on how the construction of Interstate 12 made the waters worse.
