Who will pay $1.9 billion to fund Entergy's grid improvements?

The Louisiana Public Service Commission has approved $1.9 billion in projects by Entergy Louisiana to bolster the electric grid, a cost that will be funded by ratepayers. The 3-2 vote came despite objections from consumer advocates and the commission’s two Democrats.
