Funding tutoring: Federal pandemic-era money for after-school tutoring is set to expire, but state lawmakers have signaled they'll pick up the tab — but only part of it. Patrick Wall has this report on what it means for Louisiana kids who have fallen behind.
The end of contraflow? Contraflow, the reversing of inbound lanes on highways and interstates to move more traffic out of hurricane-threatened areas, hasn't been used since Hurricane Gustav in 2008. And Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng said Friday that she doesn't see it happening again now that storms are intensifying as rapidly as they have been. Blake Paterson has the story.
