Strict Covid-19 protocols were followed at the event, while the theme for the star-studded evening was In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.
 

The exhibition debuting on 18 September 2021 will run through to 5 September 2022 and "celebrate The Costume Institute's 75th anniversary and explore a modern vocabulary of American fashion."
