Spread the word of your company's unwritten rules to get everyone on the same page, especially new hires in the remote work environment. This is particularly helpful if it is listed as "It's OK to ..." and includes things such as take yourself off video during a call or admit you need help.

A business' communications should not be overlooked when it comes to ensuring representation and diversity, according to Forbes. Care should be taken around certain words and phrases, and if your business isn't diverse yet, it might be best to recognize this. Story-telling must also be authentic to avoid alienating your customer base; for example, use real pictures of your clients instead of stock photos.
