WHY THIS KENSINGTON MARKET FISHMONGER IS CLOSING UP SHOP

When Hooked co-owner Kristin Donovan opened a Kensington Market outpost of her local fish chain in 2012, she was prepared to be there for the long haul. The market was the epitome of the downtown grocery experience and an integral part of the city. Thirteen years later, Donovan is closing up shop. Kanye West, who has been a public Hoover advocate for years, posted on X in celebration: “Thank you Drake for helping to bring Hoover home.” Confused? We’ve got you.
