The defense carried the Saints during the first three games of the season. But the unit collapsed down the stretch of the Saints' 27-21 overtime loss to the Giants last week.

After its disappointing performance, the defense will be looking for a bounce-back effort against the Washington Football Team on Sunday in Landover, Md.
