NATIONAL: Madison Square Garden Entertainment announced that Randy Fibiger has been promoted to senior vice president of bookings and Josephine Vaccarello has been named senior vice president of MSG Live and business operations. The new roles were created to ensure streamlined bookings across all of MSG Entertainment’s venues, which include Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theatre and The Chicago Theatre.

The Worldwide Travel Alliance (WTA) announced its new travel partnership with Rethink Travel Marketing for North America. Travel companies can now use WTA for industry sales, representation and public relations.

ATLANTA: A new hotel in the works from Residence Inn by Marriott is expected to be 19 stories with 185 guest rooms. The venue will be less than half a mile from Centennial Olympic Park, and it is anticipated to span more than 200,000 square feet. 

BELLMORE, NY: The Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) will be held from Aug. 10-15 at the Bellmore Movies. This year there will be 28 films made by Long Islanders, along with 20 world premieres, nine U.S. premieres, 39 New York premieres and 37 Long Island premieres, as well as films from 10 different countries. Many of the films will also be shown virtually. 

LAS VEGAS: iHeartMedia recently announced its lineup for the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Festival. The annual two-day concert will take place from Sept. 17-18 at the T-Mobile Arena and its Daytime Stage. Featured performers include Billie Eilish, Coldplay, Florida Georgia Line, Maroon 5 and more. Tickets will be available to the public June 25.
