Calls to deny Donald Trump entry to UK as Nicola Sturgeon slams US President 

Scotland’s Justice Minister has called on Home Secretary Priti Patel to deny President Donald Trump entry to the UK once he leaves office.

His comments came after Nicola Sturgeon joined the chorus of world political leaders condemning the violent scenes in Washington last night, where pro-Trump protesters breached the Capitol Building.

Alex Salmond Inquiry: Why has no one resigned yet?

The biggest unanswered question from the Salmond Inquiry is why there have been no resignations, Kenny MacAskill writes in our opinion section today.

Mr MacAskill says: " the appearance of some participants, so far, has been more redolent of an episode from the TV comedy The Office than the workings of senior ranks of governance in the land."
