Bill Cosby is rejoicing after the guilty verdict in his sexual abuse civil case |
According to Bill Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, the actor was rejoicing when he learned that jurors ruled in favor of Judy Huth in her sexual abuse case against him and that she was awarded $500,000 in damages. “What? That’s all? Booyah,” Cosby reportedly said when he heard the news. The jury consisted of right women and four men who found Cosby “intentionally caused harmful sexual contact” with Huth when she was a teenager in 1975. Cosby later spoke with two of the jurors who sided with him and thanked them. Huth filed the lawsuit against Cosby back in 2014. She revealed that she met him in a park on the set of a movie in California where he invited her and a friend to a tennis club then to a private home. While Cosby was not present in court, he denied the allegations Huth made against him and said in a video deposition shown to jurors that he did not remember her. |
