Hello,

Thursday is when we round up our latest entertainment and lifestyle news.

A pub landlady has spoken of her heartbreak about giving up what was meant to be her “forever job”.

Anna Marie Andrew will hand the keys of The Railway at Leyland back to brewery Heineken at the end of the month.

She has been forced to let go of her beloved business after four years of running it due to the pandemic and cost of living crisis.

Our eating out column this week takes us to the Ye Horns Inn - the historic hostelry reborn as an authentic foodie destination.

We also take a look back at some of the events over the jubilee weekend including Preston Mela, The BIg Lunch at Avenham Park and the Leyland Music Festival. If you went along, you might have made one of our galleries from across the bumper bank holiday.

Thanks for reading,

Adam
