Most people think of mayo as something you spread on sandwiches or use to make tuna salad, potato salad, or chicken salad. Probably 90% of all the mayonnaise in the world is used for these foods. That's what I thought before I started Primal Kitchen. It turns out that mayo is one of the most versatile condiments in the kitchen.

Spread it on steaks before searing them. This was a personal revelation for me. Salt and pepper the steak heavily, then spread mayo all over every surface. Sear and prepare yourself for the greatest crust known to man.

Put it on salmon before baking. Just like with steak, you want to season the salmon first and then apply the mayo. This also works for roasting chickens or turkeys.

Use it as a hair mask. I'm going to be honest—I don't know what the hell a hair mask even is. But my understanding is that Cardi B mixes mayo with raw eggs, honey, and olive oil to make one and it's great for your hair.

Make cake with it. I'm not really a cake guy, but I know accomplished bakers who swear by Primal Kitchen Mayo and say it improves the moistness and springiness of the finished product.
