Mylar mayhem: New Orleans could remain under a boil-water advisory into Thursday, authorities said. The boil order comes after a power outage at the city’s Carrollton treatment plant — caused by a Mylar balloon, the utility says. It’s not the first time a Mylar balloon has tossed a spanner in the works.
