The draft is tomorrow and for some teams it's DON'T SCREW IT UP time. But who's facing the most pressure? Ryan Wilson joins me for a draft deep dive, and I make the wise point that it's actually the Packers who are the most pressured team (and they need offensive weapons more than D) while Ryan points to the Steelers, and here's who else is feeling the heat.
Are one (or more) QBs really going to drop, or will we see teams take the traditional route and scramble for them once the draft begins? R.J. White says it will be the latter, as four QBs go in the top 11 picks, including one at No. 3 by the Skins after Daniel Snyder takes over his team's draft ... which means a surprising fall for a top edge rusher.
It's Christma ... er, NFL Draft eve, the heart of smokescreen season, so what should we believe? Is Kyler Murray no longer the No. 1 pick? Are Montez Sweat and Rashan Gary set up for big falls? Chris Trapasso goes over all the juicy rumors, and while he's selling the Cards not taking Murray, he's buying this team as Josh Rosen's landing spot.

This is one of the most unpredictable drafts we've seen in the last 10 years. After maybe four or five top-shelf guys, the separation between the next tier and the 40-50 guys behind them is miniscule. Predicting anything is a fool's errand, so LET'S GET FOOLISH. I've got seven first-round predictions; check out the first WR off the board (and one who falls out of Round 1).
Thursday is going to be wild and I couldn't possibly be less confident about my final mock draft of the season. I think we see tons of trades, I just don't think those moves come early, so I have two teams trading back into the end of Round 1 for QBs, as John Elway gets a nice haul and so do the Giants.
Anyone can pick a can't-miss college stud in the first round, but it's on Day 3 when the successful teams separate themselves by taking gems like Grady Jarrett and Stefon Diggs. Ryan Wilson says to keep an eye on Kennesaw State RB Darnell Holland, as well as others, including a WR who played high school ball with Kyler Murray.
Speaking of sleepers, there are plenty of them who played at bigger schools, too. Tom Fornelli put together a list of draft steals who won't be getting a bear hug from Roger Goodell. Tom says these players (one at each position) will have solid NFL careers despite going in the mid-rounds, including one very productive QB.
