When I was asked last month to assign a sex-themed travel feature, I knew there was only one writer I needed to talk to–Melanie Hamlett. After all, Melanie has written for us about falling for Hot Jesus at a Florida theme park, having a sexual awakening while backpacking in Peru, traveling the world via dating apps, and what it was like to go to French sex clubs as soon as COVID restrictions were lifted. In what was an immediate classic, Melanie filed a roaring piece on her “elderhoe” escapades in Saint Tropez.

Scandalous as some people might find Melanie’s tales, the history of the National Security Agency (NSA) is much more infamous. Well, this legendarily secretive arm of the U.S. intelligence apparatus has a brand new museum just outside D.C. and our very own Shannon Vavra went to check it out!
