Dear SIC Enthusiast,

One of the attractions of each SIC is hearing from some of America’s most famous and influential financial personalities live on stage.

But the man I’m about to introduce to you today certainly didn’t start out that way.

He’s the son of an immigrant plumber from Poland. He grew up in the rough and tumble Bronx sector of New York City.

His first job was at Xerox, where he went into debt to earn a bachelor’s degree and then a Columbia Business School MBA. (This made him the first person in his family to earn any college degree at all, never mind a graduate degree.)

Then he got a job at Goldman Sachs.

Over a hugely-successful 25-year career at Goldman, he rose up the ranks to become CEO and chairman of GS Asset Management plus manager of the GS Capital Growth Fund.

The Institutional Investor All America Research Team survey voted him the “number one portfolio strategist” for nine consecutive years. He’s also been a member of Bloomberg Markets magazine's “50 Most Influential” list and Forbes' 25 Highest-Earning hedge fund managers list.

And today (at 77 years of age), he’s still the chairman and CEO of Omega Advisors, a New York-based investment advisory firm overseeing more than $3.3 billion in assets under management.

That’s one impressive climb up the ladder, I’m sure you’ll agree.

So who is he?

None other than self-made multi-billionaire, investment legend, and outspoken patriot Leon (Lee) Cooperman.

I’m immensely proud to have him on stage for this year’s SIC in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Who better to learn from than someone who’s the walking, talking, living embodiment of the American Dream?

Especially when his numerous appearances on CNBC and other media outlets can attest that he’s well known for speaking his mind on matters he considers important.

He’s written a stern open letter to President Obama, told President Trump not to run again unless he changed his behavior, and warned of the potential dangers of a Warren presidency. He’s also a blunt critic of the Fed’s low interest rate policy.

That's why I can't wait to ask him about future directions for the economy, work, and the nation, if not the world, at the SIC 2020.

Won’t you join me?

Through midnight on Monday, February 24, you can still save $800 on your SIC 2020 ticket. Only 193 seats remain. Reserve yours now.

You’ll need to be quick to get the last of the priority-priced seats, though. That’s because we’ve reduced the number of seats at our five-star venue—The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona—by nearly 40%.

This will allow more face-to-face interactions with speakers, including Leon Cooperman himself. It also facilitates the lifelong friendships attendees have developed over the years.

This added exclusiveness is just part of the high demand for tickets.

Headlined by Mr. Cooperman, the SIC 2020 will include more than 25 experts confirmed to take the stage.

We’ve just confirmed our keynote speaker, self-made billionaire, Sam Zell.

Felix Zulauf wowed the crowd last year and has graciously agreed to return.

Billionaire mining magnate Ross Beaty will join us, too.

The speaking list includes long-time SIC favorites Louis Gave, David Rosenberg, Lacy Hunt, George Friedman, and Mark Yusko. I’m also welcoming a gold-standard selection of leading analysts, strategists, and portfolio managers to the stage including Michael Barone, Jim Bianco, David Blumberg, Barry Habib, Karen Harris, Ben Hunt, Bruce Mehlman, Ben Phillips, Samuel E. Rines, Barry Ritholtz, Jonathan Ward, Ivy Zelman, and more.

Of course, I’ll be joined by the Mauldin Economics team. Jared Dillian, Patrick Watson, Robert Ross, and Chris Wood will all be there, too.

This wealth of brainpower has been assembled to help you think strategically about pressing questions like:

  • Why the China Trade War Isn’t Over Yet: Our China panel will include Louis Gave, Mark Yusko, Felix Zulauf, and Jonathan Ward as they discuss the best way to navigate the complex maze of Chinese whispers we’re seeing today.
  • How to Ensure Your Portfolio Survives Election 2020: Our political panel features Michael Barone, Barry Ritholtz, David Bahnsen, and Bruce Mehlman, and will cover unique investment angles for whatever political climate emerges later this year.
  • Alternative Investing in the 2020s: In the ‘90s, 2000s, and into the 2010s, hedge funds dominated. But it will look very different in the 2020s. You’ll be hearing from experts in venture capital, frontier markets, real estate, and distressed debt as I finalize this panel.
  • What’s Up with Gold: Billionaire resource investor Ross Beaty will join Marin Katusa on stage to discuss the yellow metal and anything else on his mind.
  • There will of course be many more insights and opportunities from high-level experts you won’t find anywhere else.

In fact, the quality of SIC speakers is so consistently high that nearly everybody attends every session. Every speaker has something you don’t want to miss. And each session builds on the last.

You’re constantly expanding your horizons with the very best analyses.

It’s why many speakers join the audience to listen to their peers’ presentations after doing their own. For example, David Rosenberg and Lacy Hunt routinely stay for the entire SIC.

So how about you?

Only 193 seats remain. The SIC 2020 is certain to sellout, so don’t procrastinate.

Sign up now and make sure you don’t miss Leon Cooperman and the very special SIC 2020 atmosphere.

Please circle May 11–14 on your calendar—this SIC is lining up to be the most exciting conference we’ve ever held.

Your I hope to shake your hand in Scottsdale analyst,
