Last Saturday we flew from Cancun to Canada…

The flight left at 5:30pm… a horrible time trying to keep a baby’s sleep schedule.

Everything went ok until Isabella bazooka-barfed all over me as we arrived in Vancouver.

I was so proud of her… and her huge volume of vomit all over my clothes. Daddy’s little girl.

Isabella has been making all of our relatives laugh and smile… she’s the star of the show.

However…

There’s one downside of visiting our families (both Michelle’s dad & my mom)…

They always have The CNN on “The TeeVeeeee”.

What a scam waste of time.

This week was extra terrible on America’s productivity.

As millions of hours were wasted discussing Donald Trump’s arrest in NYC.

It made me think of a few clients who spend way too much time talking about Trump.

Here's why the Orange Man is destroying everyone’s productivity

Trump is a perverse form of procrastination stealing your productivity, health, wealth, and family time

You know why he’s a waste of time?

Because you have ALREADY made your mind up about the Orange Man.

You either will vote for him or you won’t.

That’s the ONLY decision you need to make about him.

You don't need to gather more info to make your decision.

More importantly, you don’t even need to think about Trump until November 2024 (if he’s even an option in the election, of course!)

That means you have ZERO action items on your day-to-day to-do list related to Trump…

And therefore should not be giving him a single second of your attention.

Unfortunately, some very smart people I know continue to spend more time on him than on anything directly related to making money in their business, becoming a better leader, or raising their family.

But make no mistake about it…

Trump fixation is a 1st world, 1st class waste of time.

He is the political version of Fantasy Football or March Madness.

Some days I want to scream “STOP” at the Trump-obsessed (on both sides) who are wasting their lives.

The Bottom Line:

Reading about Trump or watching him on the CNN is a great example of

“Putting a Level 10 effort into a Level 1 problem.”

This is also a great example of my “Success Through Subtraction” principle.

We get many breakthroughs when we STOP doing the wrong things…

Because it allows us to START the right things.

So put a stop to:

- Checking news sites (you're addicted, admit it)

- Watching YT motivational or instructional videos

- Scrolling social media to see if someone liked your post

You've already got the information you need to succeed.

You just aren't making time to use it… because you're losing it to perverse forms of procrastination

If you struggle to fix this – or ANY bad habit – I have the antidote.
