BOSTON: The 1,054-room Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, the city’s largest hotel project in decades, opened last week across from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The property has 100,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space, including the largest hotel ballroom in Boston and a 3,000-square-foot balcony. CHICAGO: Eric Kincaid has joined the Choose Chicago team, where he’ll be handling the large-scale convention market, with a primary focus on conventions meeting at McCormick Place. Based in Washington, D.C., Kincaid previously worked as national account director of citywide sales for Destination D.C. LAS VEGAS: Resorts World Las Vegas will be introducing a self-guided tour for guests to explore artwork on the property. Guests will be able to scan the QR codes on various pieces of art from their phones to find out more information and background details. The tour will feature a combination of local and renowned artists. LOS ANGELES: Global street dance competition Red Bull Dance Your Style will return to Los Angeles this year, taking place at Pershing Square on Oct. 2. Emmy award-winning dancer Comfort Fedoke will be hosting the event, which is free and open to the public. The audience will be the judge, ultimately deciding which dancer will advance to the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Finals USA in Washington, D.C. NEW YORK: Ryan Ruden has been named executive vice president of experiential marketing and business development at Capital Music Group. Based in New York, Ruden most recently held a similar role at Columbia Records, where he helped lead the first live concert in "Fornite" as well as the Roblox platform’s first virtual concert.
