🌴 Greetings!

I hope you are having a fun Sunday. It was another busy week in the travel industry so I'm including the top 12 stories of the week as well as all of the others and each day's travel tip so you don't miss out. I also have a new 39 Travel Questions interview for you with travel guru ... Rick Steves.

If you're flying in or around the U.S. today, the system looks like it's on track as only 50 flights have been cancelled and it's already 6:40pm on the east coast.

On a personal note, one of our family highlights was taking the kids to meet Bluey and Bingo for a tour of their Australian house … FOR REAL LIFE! If you don't know Bluey, then check out my story for all the details about the interactive Bluey experience at CAMP in Los Angeles.

How to Get Free Early Boarding Today on Spirit Airlines
If you're flying today or tonight, then be sure to check out the TSA’s advice on what to wear and what NOT to wear. And if you're flying Spirit Airlines, they have a pretty fun promotion going on where they're inviting passengers to dress up in their favorite family-friendly costume. If you do, your Halloween spirit will be rewarded with priority boarding. The full guidelines for acceptable costumes can be found here.

🧵 TRAVEL THREAD OF THE DAY

@cnn: Thinking of skimping on a DoorDash tip? Do so at your own risk, warns a message being tested by the food delivery provider. If you try to place an order through the DoorDash app without leaving a tip, you may get this pop-up: “Orders with no tip might take longer to get delivered — are you sure you want to continue?” The note goes on: “Dashers can pick and choose which orders they want to do. Orders that take longer to be accepted by Dashers tend to result in a slower delivery.”
