Good morning,

Just as embattled billionaire Richard White was announcing his exit from WiseTech amid a string of damaging claims, the woman he tried and failed to sue over $90,000 worth of furniture was strapping on her high-heels. The focus will now be on WiseTech’s board to ensure the right guardrails are in place for White’s new consulting agreement.

The mining company boss behind one of the nation’s biggest green-energy projects says Australian governments may need to guarantee offtake at premiums well above current prices to achieve emissions reduction targets.

And Regis Resources has not given up hope of overturning an 11th-hour call by federal Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek that scuttled plans for the McPhillamys gold mine in NSW, managing director Jim Beyer says.
