This was not the year we had in mind when it came to events. And while next year may not be business as usual right from the start, we’re looking forward to once again bringing together a community of media and marketing leaders to learn, share insights and, most importantly, connect.
One of the positives that came out of 2020 was that it forced us to rethink how we deliver the insights and connections our audiences need to do their jobs. A virtual setting certainly presented its challenges. But as we prepare for a gradual transition back to in-person events, it’s become clear that some of the new features and formats from this year are here to stay. As we look ahead to 2021, here’s some of what you can expect:
- New formats. In January, the Digiday Brand Summit LIVE will include a new free registration that allows attendees to hear from top-level brand execs in addition to paid and VIP passes that give attendees valuable access to networking, case studies and actionable tips. In February, our first Amazon 201 will offer a crash course on advertising beyond search. And in June, we’ll host our first-ever golf outing for publishers.
- A return to in-person. In-person events will be back. We’re hopeful that beginning in June, we’ll be able to start returning to events as we knew them before. You can check out the full schedule here and learn more about a special offer to save on passes here.
- Hybrid events. All of our events will include a virtual component going forward. Even if you’re not able to physically join us, you’ll still be able to access the smart, honest insights you can’t get anywhere else.
- New areas of coverage. As always, we'll continue to evolve our offerings to cover key areas. Next year, look for more events around the future of work, our first-ever CMO Summit and more events for retailers and marketers that go across Digiday Media’s three media brands.
- More networking. Whether you’re joining us virtually or in-person, keep an eye out for even more features and opportunities to help you connect with peers.
We hope you’ll consider joining us -- in-person, virtually or both. If you’re interested in saving on passes for in-person events, we’re offering 30% off the price through the start of next year. You can learn more about it here.
