newsletter-and-mobile-600x600.pngCorn Analysis
Corn futures initially reacted well to lower-than-expected USDA carryout projections for both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 marketing years, but bulls couldn’t sustain the advance last week. Having Conab boost its Brazilian corn estimate, while no fresh reductions to Argentina’s crop were published, likely added to the selling pressure. We are in no hurry to call a top in the market, especially with plantings far from finished and the summer pollination period ahead. Our research (news page 2 in latest newsletter), suggests corn yields could fall short of prior expectations, which may provide background support. Nevertheless, projections for elevated old- and new-crop carryout require rallies to be sold.

Reviews:
  • “I've been able to capitalize on the Pro Farmer Alerts. It allowed me to hit the highest mark of the season on Spring Wheat.”
  • "Pro Farmer’s analysts had ag on their minds and not economics, they pretty much nailed it every time!  The competition wasn't as accurate.”

  • "Always on the cutting edge and helping us make good decisions."
  • “I compared Pro Farmer with DTN service on a month trial basis. I called DTN to ask for analyst and told me they don’t do that. I call Pro Farmer customer service number and asked for analyst, they put a guy on the phone and he was very willing to talk to me for a decent amount of time. I really liked that feature and took the Pro Farmer package after that!
