Good morning. 🌤️ May 15, 2023 marked the 75-year anniversary of the Nakba, the mass displacement of Palestinians as a result of the creation of the State of Israel. Though many cultural institutions acquire and exhibit artworks from this region, it is rare for them to openly denounce the ongoing violence against Palestinians, notes curator Yasmin Khan in an opinion for Hyperallergic. She visited Palestinian Nakba75, an exhibition at P21 Gallery in London that offers visitors a safe space to reflect on truths the larger art world often ignores.
