Trouble hiring for a full-time position

Q: I need to hire someone, but I can barely manage all the resumes I get when I post a job online. I stick to the free sites to save cash, but I'm feeling like that's the wrong move. Any advice?

A: Getting a bunch of applicants is easy. The tough thing is actually finding the right person who is a good fit for the job. That's why I use LinkedIn Jobs. It can help by matching your role with qualified candidates so you can find the right person quickly. LinkedIn screens for skills and you can use a ton of different tools to narrow down your search. That means so much less work on your end.

And you'll love this: You can post a job for free. Visit LinkedIn.com/kim to find your next great employee.

Sending encrypted emails

Q: I saw one of your posts about StartMail. I like the idea of encryption, but if you have a service like this but your recipient doesn’t, doesn’t it defeat the purpose?

A: That's the beautiful thing about it: That doesn't matter. There are two different methods through which you can send and receive encrypted emails with StartMail: the Password Protected Message method and the PGP Encryption Method.

The PGP method is for recipients who use an encrypted service. For others, you simply lock your emails down with a password. Share that password with your recipient using a method aside from email. Once you send your message, they will get a URL to access the email on the StartMail servers. Recipients can access your message for 28 days.

Take back your privacy and say goodbye to Big Tech. Go to StartMail.com/Kim to try it out yourself free for 7 days and get 50% off your first year.

How do I store financial files?

Q: Is it safe to save my financial documents in Google Drive? I don't want to do something stupid!

A: You're right to wonder. Cloud storage is super convenient, but choose the wrong place to store your files, and you’re in a world of hurt if your account is broken into or if the service is hacked.

Your best bet is an encrypted backup option. My sponsor, IDrive, uses industry-standard 256-bit AES encryption for transferring and storing your data. You can also set your privacy to the highest level by creating a private key for your account during signup. No one but you will have access to your data.

Best of all, it's super affordable. Right now you can save 90% at IDrive.com. Use promo code Kim at checkout!
