Dear Golfers,
Over the past 72 hours the staff and I have had to adjust our processes inside and out to meet the requirements of the "Stay at Home" Proclamation. We feel that we are doing everything we can to keep our staff members and our golfers safe during this pandemic and I want to thank those of you who have frequented our facility showing your loyalty to the club especially during this hardship.
There are just a few items that I want to touch on which we have adjusted over the last few days and a few items that I want to remind you of. Thank you again for doing your part in flattening the curve of coronavirus and the deadly COVID-19 disease.
Range Balls: We have adjusted our range ball sales and distribution to be done through the golf shop and carport area located to the right of the building when looking from the 1st tee. The new process is to call in for range balls to the golf shop by dialing 919-846-8376 extension 2 and paying or requesting your range balls with us in the clubhouse. We will then put the range balls on the green cabinet underneath the carport with a note that has your name on it. We no longer plan to hand out range balls from the starter shed. The direct line to the golf shop is 919-846-5380 if you are calling from a phone/blue tooth service without a keypad option.
We adjusted this range process because we felt that we were putting people in an unnecessary position to share high-touch items which is not needed right now. This process began yesterday, the 29th and seemed to work great. We apologize to those of you who would like to pay by cash but a payment by credit card over the phone is much safer for everyone involved.
As a reminder, you can put a credit/debit card on file with us in order to not have to repeat this information every time you come to the club. Thank you to everyone who has done this so far!
Food & Beverage Orders: Although we have been practicing to-go and delivery service for over a week now, I again want to stress to you the importance of calling your food & beverage requests in. This not only helps us prepare for what is needed but it also keeps you out of the clubhouse and away from the grille counter. This is especially useful when needing a mixed drink or large food/beverage order. Champions Grille direct number is 919-390-0347. The only foot traffic through the back patio doors is to use the bathroom or pick up your food & beverage and there is to be no food or beverage consumed on the back patio.
Gatherings: Although we have stressed and promoted an atmosphere to gather and enjoy your experiences with us in a group setting, we are asking at this time to not gather before or after your round. We are asking that you come to the club, play your round, and return to your car to go home. There will be plenty of socializing after this pandemic is over!
Processes I Want to Remind You Of
1. All check in must be done over the phone by calling 919-846-8376 extension 2. 2. The last range bucket will be sold at 5:00 PM daily and the driving range closes at 5:30 PM. 3. Only walking will be allowed after 5:30 PM and you will need to call the golf shop before 5:30 to check in. 4. Champions Grille hours for to-go and delivery service is from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM daily. The clubhouse restrooms will close at 5:30 PM. 5. Golf carts are on a first come, first serve basis and are limited to one rider unless both people live with each other. 6. If you are sick, STAY AWAY! 7. Wash and sanitize your hands frequently. 8. Limit interaction with others and keep a perimeter of 6 feet between you and anyone else. 9. Please dispose of all your trash underneath the carport before leaving your cart. 10. Use your own balls for the short game and putting areas.
