Back to the drawing board? A new 700-page plan to redevelop the long-blighted site of the former Six Flags amusement park in New Orleans East is getting a skeptical reception. Brenda Breaux, head of the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority, groused that Bayou Phoenix, the group chosen to lead the project, left out key details, such as its financing and infrastructure plans. 'Becoming a hero': 12-year-old Javier Adrian Flores Fajardo died Friday morning from injuries he received in a bizarre and tragic accident last Saturday, when an ice cream truck crashed into his home. Faced with news that their child would not recover, his parents made the difficult decision to donate his organs in the hopes of saving other lives. Michelle Hunter has that story.
