Garland scored 22 points, one away from his career-best, on 7-of-13 from the field and 4-of-8 from 3-point range. He also made all four of his free throws, dished out six assists, grabbed six rebounds, had one steal and only committed two turnovers -- a preseason problem area that he vowed to fix.
