Six questions which will be answered by the election While SNP dominance in Holyrood seems inevitable, there are still several important questions the Scottish election result will answer. Will the pro-independence party win a majority? Will Scotland have an indyref2? And which party will seize second place? We take a look at all the possibilities as voters head to the polls tomorrow. It could be some time until we find out the results of Thursday's election, as votes from the 73 first-past-the-post constituencies and 56 proportional representation top-up seats are counted. The UK Prime Minister was asked if he should allow Indyref2 if the people of Scotland voted for pro-independence parties.
