Hi,

As shopping habits change, retailers are scrambling to uncover innovative growth strategies and marketing tactics to reach consumers where they are now.

Walmart made waves earlier this month when it announced that it was acquiring men’s clothing startup Bonobos. This comes on the heels of a string of high-profile acquisitions — including Jet.com — led by Walmart E-Commerce CEO Marc Lore. At the Code Commerce event in March, Lore admitted to Jason Del Rey that Walmart “needed to catch up.” We’ll hear firsthand from Bonobos CEO Andy Dunn about how he built a business to attract Walmart, his new role as senior vice president of Walmart’s digital consumer brands, and how the mass-market retailer hopes you'll shop with them in the future.

We’re thrilled to welcome Williams-Sonoma CEO Laura Alber to Code Commerce to talk about the retailer’s approach to experimentation, including a line of hotels with design by West Elm, an augmented reality app by Pottery Barn that lets customers experiment with furniture looks before they buy, and partnering with digital-first brands such as Casper. Alber will also discuss how Williams-Sonoma’s roots in the print-catalog business laid the groundwork for thriving in the digital world.

Dunn and Alber are a part of a lineup that includes Blue Apron CEO Matt Salzberg; star investor Kirsten Green; BuzzFeed's Head of Product Labs, Ben Kaufman; The Wirecutter's President David Perpich and more. During our two-day event, you’ll hear from the entrepreneurs and executives disrupting the brick-and-mortar model, network with your peers, and get insight to bring to your own company.
