Windows 10 Clipboard Manager: Tips and tricks

Since the beginning of the Windows era, the Clipboard has been capable of holding only one thing at a time. All that's now changed, with the debut of the new Clipboard Manager in Windows 10 version 1809.

Press Windows key + V to see the current contents of the Clipboard Manager, which can hold up to 25 items at a time. Scroll through the list to see all content you've clipped, in reverse chronological order, and click any item to paste it at the current insertion point. This feature can save a lot of repetitive work when you're gathering quotes or graphics from different sources to use in a document or presentation.

Click the three dots in the upper right corner of any clipped item to delete it from the Clipboard Manager, pin it for quick access, or delete the entire Clipboard contents.

To turn this feature on or off, go to Settings | System | Clipboard and toggle the Clipboard History switch. There, you'll also find a switch that allows you to sync the Clipboard history to other devices where you're signed in using your Microsoft account.
