Hackers prey on coronavirus fears to infect your computer

Hackers prey on coronavirus fears to infect your computer

Only hackers are scummy enough to take advantage of coronavirus fears to spread malware. Using malicious files attached to emails, these cybercriminals are pretending to be disease authorities with information on new cases of the epidemic. But if you open these files, you might end up with a digital virus instead.

A Twitter Tale: Lost purse finds its owner

Many things can be said about Twitter, but it’s rare to hear genuinely sweet stories coming from the platform. Be prepared — this one might melt your icy heart. A woman who had her purse stolen in the French Quarter of New Orleans thought she’d never see her Michael Kors bag again. But thanks to the efforts of the good samaritan who found it, she ended up with so much more in the end.

After picking up the abandoned purse, a local delivery man found the woman’s GoPro still inside, and noticed it was full of photos from around the world. Using his Twitter account, he urged his followers to help the story go viral so he could return the bag to its owner. Sure enough, he was able to locate her after 800 retweets. And, as icing on the cake, he gave her some New Orleans photos she missed out on taking when her purse went missing. I’m not crying, you are!

Twitter is full of … shall we say, “colorful characters.” Now, watch Gordon Ramsay take on their questions.
