Noble Sandwich Co. Smoked Duck Pastrami
One of the best sandwiches I've ever had...ever...was at this place! The breakfast and lunch sandwiches at Noble Sandwich Co. in Austin are an art form all their own; winning combinations with familiar ingredients that make for one incredible experience. Period! The restaurant's signature Smoked Duck Pastrami [above] is seasoned and smoked overnight. Then, grilled the next day and smothered with Swiss cheese, topped with sauerkraut and Russian Dressing and served alongside rye pickles made in-house. We'll have the recipe ready for ya!  >
The Cove Fish Tacos
We found a cool culinary corner in the Alamo City you'll want to return to time and time again...The Cove! This glorified spot for "sol" food (sustainable/ organic/ local) is also part Texas beer garden and live music venue. Also, it's a laundromat...and a carwash. There's no place quite like it! The philosophy is "eat well, live well," which certainly applies to nibbles like these rockin' Fish Tacos [above] locals can't seem to get enough of: grilled tilapia filets on corn tortillas dressed with cilantro coleslaw and a spicy poblano sauce. Worth the trip!  >
