There's no ancestral tradition more meaningful than sharing a good meal together. Holiday parties and dinners are when we come together to celebrate the bonds we have and the promise of a new year.

Hi, everyone,

There's no ancestral tradition more meaningful than sharing a good meal together. Holiday parties and dinners are when we come together to celebrate the bonds we have and the promise of a new year.

Whether planned or impromptu, the effort doesn't have to compromise the enjoyment. The best gatherings are simple and casual, and your menu can reflect that. Today I've teamed up with the good folks at Dry Farm Wines to offer up 5 "easy entertaining" menu and wine pairing ideas for your celebrations.

The holidays shouldn’t be a time for guilt or sacrifice. Even if you're Primal or Primal-keto, alcohol can be a vibrant part of this celebration, but you have to drink the right stuff….

Imagine if you could enjoy wines this holiday season that you know fit your healthy lifestyle, leave you feeling great, and taste incredible. It's why I've been a Dry Farms Wines devotee (and affiliate) for the last few years. They're what I'll be serving at my holiday table again this year—and here's why.

All their wines are sugar-free, organically or biodynamically grown, lower in alcohol, lower in sulfites, free of chemicals and industrial additives, and sustainably grown. To guarantee these are the cleanest possible wines, every wine curated by Dry Farm Wines is lab tested by an independent, certified enologist.

The result is a Primal- and keto-friendly, naturally lower alcohol wine that tastes clean and delicious—without the negative aftereffects that even a single glass used to leave me with. They're the perfect wines to savor this holiday and to share with family.

For this holiday season, Dry Farm Wines is offering specially curated selections of robust holiday wines. (Trust me on this—they're delicious....) Choose a collection of reds, whites or both—or a "full celebration" selection that includes rosé and sparkling varieties, too. Order your favorite holiday collection here.

Dry Farm Wines make an excellent gift, too. You can order a variety of gift collections here.

Rest assured that Dry Farm Wines also backs up their wines with a 100% Happiness Promise. If you don’t like the wines, they’ll either ship you replacements or refund you fully.

But let's get to that holiday entertaining inspiration with some great recipe & wine pairings, offered up by the Dry Farm Wines staff. Which will be part of your Primal hospitality this holiday season?

Baked Brie Topped With Cranberry & 2017 Charles Frey Crémant Brut Nature—Sparkling

This dry and refreshing sparking wine compliments a tart and creamy appetizer. Bake a wheel of brie cheese for 5-10 minutes at 350ºF. Serve with natural whole-berry cranberry sauce or compote and gluten-free/grain-free crackers.

Heritage Turkey & 2017 Caveau Quinard Chardonnay "Coteaux de Son Nant" Vieilles Vignes—Chardonnay

Easy and juicy heritage turkey (recipe here) pairs perfectly with this fresh and full-bodied Chardonnay.

Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts & 2017 Jane et Sylvain Borgogne—Pinot Noir

The elegant, red berry nuances of this Pinot Noir are the perfect companion for the salty, crisp bite of these bacon-wrapped water chestnuts. Soak water chestnuts in tamari sauce or coconut aminos, wrap each in a half slice of bacon, drizzle with Primal Kitchen® Teriyaki Sauce and bake for 20 minutes at 400ºF.

Bacon-Wrapped Dates & 2017 Jane et Sylvain Borgogne—Pinot Noir

This bold and tasty Pinot Noir likewise pairs well with these bacon-wrapped dates. Split each date and remove the pits. Fill with blue cheese and wrap in bacon slice halves. Bake for 20 minutes at 400ºF.

Ribeye Roast & 2017 Corte Sant'Alda Ca'Fiui—Valpolicella

Pair a robust Valpolicella with this tender, juicy roast that's marbled to perfection. (Find the recipe here.)

Feeling inspired yet? I know I am....

An important note for your Dry Farm Wines order: For guaranteed delivery by December 20, order by December 10th if you live east of Colorado. If you live west of Colorado, you can order by December 15th.

Here's to savoring the moment this season—the company, the conversation, the food and drink, as well as the chance to connect and tell stories new and old.

Wishing you and yours Happy Holidays.
