We take a look at Beausoleil Books and how it exterior was recently vandalized and how a real estate company that owns two large apartment complexes in Lafayette has bought 15 acres near Our Lady of Lourdes. With Pride mural defaced, Beausoleil Books recognized for creating inclusive space"We don't want to give oxygen to hate," said Bryan Dupree, one of the owners of Beausoleil Books, which had its Pride mural defaced last week. In the meantime, Dupree said he's choosing to focus on the national press his bookstore received for creating an inclusive space instead of on the message etched into the mural.
