In a graphic account published Sunday in the The Washington Post, the woman, identified as Christine Blasey Ford, described an episode in the 1980s when she says the Supreme Court nominee pinned her to a bed and groped her over her clothing. "I thought he might inadvertently kill me," Ford told the Post. "He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing." Ford said she revealed her story in a confidential letter to a senior Democratic lawmaker and that it became public without her name or consent. Kavanaugh has previously denied the allegations, and he declined to comment further on the new revelations, the Post reported.
