Thousands of Google employees around the world staged walk outs on Thursday to protest claims of sexual harassment, gender inequality and systemic racism. The demonstrations began just after 11am in Tokyo with other time zones following suit.The protests were organized in the wake of last week's New York Times report about a $90 million payout that was given to ex-employee Andy Rubin after he was forced to resign amid sexual harassment allegations. Among the participating offices were Tokyo, Singapore, Zurich, London, Dublin, Haifa, New York and Berlin.
