There’s a lot to celebrate in book news—the latest by Tayari Jones, An American Marriage, is an Oprah’s book club pick. The Horror Writers Association (HWA) announced the finalists for the best horror and dark fantasy of 2017. Though March is Women’s History Month, these new picks are solid choices for any time of year. And in movie news, we can’t forget about graphic novel–inspired Black Panther , which opened this weekend to box office records; Neal Wyatt’s Book Pulse fills you in on the latest.
