  • The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is now participating in PAR-23-309, “Health and Health Care Disparities Among Persons Living With Disabilities (R01 – Clinical Trials Optional).” You can get the details about our specific areas of research interest from NOT-AT-24-027. 
  • Friday, June 7 is the next due date for PAR-23-137, NIH Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA), which supports educational activities for K–12 students from diverse backgrounds. The goal is to encourage these young people to pursue further studies or careers in research. Within this program, NCCIH will support activities that are aligned with our strategic plan and expose students to complementary and integrative health research.  
  • The National Institutes of Health Chief Officer for Scientific Workforce Diversity will hold a seminar, “How Does Diversity Impact Innovation in Team Science,” on Wednesday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. ET. Register here to attend.  
  • As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, the National Institute of Mental Health will hold a full-day symposium, “Amplifying Voices and Building Bridges: Toward a More Inclusive Future,” on Monday, March 18. Register to attend in person or virtually. 
  • The journal Mental Health Science has issued a call for papers for a special issue on identifying opportunities and priorities in youth mental health disparities research. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, June 1.
